Since our inception in 2020, Cryptocurrency NZ (CNZ) has been dedicated to fostering New Zealand’s growing crypto community. Our mission is to onboard, educate, and empower Kiwis entering the decentralized universe. We provide a platform to unite New Zealand’s cryptocurrency and blockchain ecosystem, sparking connections that drive innovation, enterprise, and industry across Aotearoa.

We're the guardians of Aotearoa's largest Bitcoin and crypto Facebook, Reddit, Discord and Meetup groups – home to 50,000+ Kiwi crypto enthusiasts.
We run monthly DeFi Meetups across 14 of New Zealand's cities, including Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and beyond, proudly supported by New Zealand's crypto titans.

We founded and run the NZ Peer-to-Peer Crypto Marketplace – enabling Kiwis to trade directly with each other without intermediaries.
CNZ is the guardian of New Zealand's largest Bitcoin & crypto Facebook groups, host to over 28,000 NZ members.
We own and administrate r/NZBitcoin, New Zealand's legacy Bitcoin forum dating back to 2013.
